communication through pre-defined channels - reports, email etc.

A
No established structure - conversations on site, over a coffee, in the office

Why is it important to formalise elements of informal communication?
A
To have an audit trail of conversations had on site for example. Agreeing to improve H&S signage, housekeeping etc.

A
Senior manager who bridges the gap between the project team and the executive team.
