What does lean production do?

A

This approach sets out to cut out all activities that do not add value to the
production process, such as holding of stock, repairing faulty product and unnecessary
movement of people and product around the plant.

A

Kaizen is defined as a continuous effort by each and every employee (from the CEO to
field staff) to ensure improvement of all processes and systems of a particular
organization.
Kaizen means “continuous improvement of processes and functions of an organization
through change”
