Q

what are the four basic types of signal processing?

A
  1. frequency alterations- transposition
  2. timbre alterations- equalization and filtering
  3. time asked alterations- delay, reverb, chorus, phasing, flanging etc.
  4. dynamic (amplitude) alteration- compression, expansion, gating
