Sea level rise

A

Occurs for two reasons

  1. When you melt ice on land it goes into the ocean
  2. As water gets warmer it expands
  • One foot rise is like 20ft in
  • You get a loss of islands
  • But you may get new ones because you’re moving in shore
  • It depends on how quickly an animal shift

  • They adapt but it comes to things like climate change which is the biggest extinction

All the wildlife areas in Pa are bought and managed through this act
