The Alpha and Beta cells secrete their hormones into capillary cells
what does the isluin hormone do
it reduces blood sugar levels by stimulating uptake into the liver, muscles, and adipose tissue
what does the glucagon hormone do
it prevents glucose uptake into muscles and adipose tissue and promotes glucose release from liver glycogen
how is hyperglycaemia caused
high blood sugar
how is hypoglycaemia caused
low blood sugar
