What are general characteristics of Canonical Historiography?

A

Political/Military = looking at who is in charge of the area and what is happening in politics

Elitist = about the people in power

Androcentric = male center

Eurocentric = Coming from an outsider’s opinion, focusing on an outsider (esp. EuroAmer) perspective
