What is a dihybrid cross?
A cross between 2 true-breeding parents that have alternative characteristics for two different traits; examines 2 traits simultaneously

What is mendel’s second law?
The principle of independent assortment
What does the principle of independent assortment state?
That different genes and their alleles are inherited independently; the first law, but applied to nonallelic genes
What is the product/ multiplication rule?
The probability of the simultaneous occurrence of two or more independent events is the product of the occurrence of each of these traits individually?
What is the sum/ addition rule?
If 2 events are mutually exclusive, then the probability of either event occurring is the sum of their individual probabilities
