• Peripheral vessels- initial vasoconstriction (minimise heat loss to periphery)
• Heart rate- tachycardia initially because of sympathetic stimulation however this will progress to bradycardia as conduction velocities slow
• Blood pressure- decreases with vasodilation and decreased cardiac output
