- sex and sexual health are important parts of life, so access to accurate info should be allowed
- youth centered approach: focus on issues relevant to youth and let youth participate in discussion topics
- focus on delivering knowledge and skills: for younger ages talk about sexual anatomy, older ages talk about risks and skills regarding sexual activity and relations, as well as how to lead healthy sexual and romantic lives
