The yearly Jewish holiday to celebrate God rescuing His people from slavery in Egypt after passing over the homes marked by the blood of a lamb, sparing them from death.
Passover
A substance (as yeast) used in bread dough to make it rise.
Leaven
A commemoration of the death of Jesus to save us from slavery to sin; instituted by Jesus on the eve of His crucifixion to be observed by believers until He returns; its elements, bread and grape juice (wine), are to represent Jesus’ body and blood.
Lord’s Supper
Fellowship between Christ and His disciples and of the disciples with one another; a term used in 1 Corinthians 10:16-17 to refer to the Lord’s Supper.
Communion
To come to know or recognize the truth of something
Discern
“Save us, we pray” (From Psalm 118:25-26, shouted as Jesus rode into Jerusalem to acknowledge Him as Messiah)
