Hypothetical syllogism
It consists of the antecedent and the consequent for the truth of the hypothetical judgment lies in the truth of dependence between the two clauses

It is an “either or” statement

one that denies that the two choices can be true at the same time

if one disjunct is accepted in the minor premise, the other disjunct must be rejected in the conclusion.

if one disjunct is accepted in the minor premise, the other disjunct must be rejected in the conclusion.
