To comprehend or grasp the nature or meaning of something. To put two or more concepts together.

What is APPLICATION level of learning?
The act of putting something to use that has been learned or understood. Puts two or more concepts together to form something new.

What is CORRELATION level of learning?
Associating what has been learned, understood, and applied with previous or subsequent learning. This is the objective of aviation instruction.
ANALYSIS - develop conclusions, make inferences, and/or find evidence to support generalizations.
Key verbs - examine, compare, outline, prioritize, and subdivide
SYNTHESIS - involves putting parts together to form a new and integrated whole
Key verbs - create, design, plan, write, compare, formulate, revise, incorporate
EVALUATION - making judgments about the merits of ideas, materials, etc (SIP level)
