(20 cards)
Quote by who…?
“The kind of work God usually calls you to is the kind of work that you need most to do and that the world most needs to have done… The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.”
Frederick Buechner

As we start the process of putting together a Personal Mission, there are four key questions to ask:
1) Who or what is the target of my mission?
2) What is it that I will be doing?
3) What will it look like if my mission is successful?
4) What do I need to do in order to get started?
What does our unique design indicate?
what we “need most to do”
What does unique design inspire?
deep gladness
How does Buechner believe we usually find out God’s calling?
He went on to say that it is where these two personal dynamics within us intersect with the external dynamics of what “the world most needs to have done” and where “the world’s deep hunger”
What does the “sweet spot” mean?
You have a flow to your life
- you’re not arrogant because you get to experience this wonderful moment because your’e in God’s will.
What happens when we do things in our lives that don’t involve our uniqueness together with the needs of the worlds?
we will not be as accurate or powerful
