Advantages of SS ligatures?

A

• cheap
•clean
•loose= low friction and good sliding (if Teflon coated)
•tight=good torque

Disadvantages of SS Ligatures

A

•Time consuming
•sharp
•tight= poor sliding
•loose= poor rotation
•Teflon coating can come off
