Abstract
Language that describes concepts rather than concrete images, ideas, and qualities, rather than observe or specify things, people, or places.
Allegory
Extended narrative in prose or verse in which characters, events, and setting, represent abstract qualities and in which, writers intend a second meaning to be read under the surfaces of a story. underlying meaning: moral, religious, political, social.
Anedote
short, simple, narrative of an incident; often used for humorous effect or to make a point
