Every 3 months: Lithium serum concentration

Lithium interactions

A

ACEi : reduces lithium excretion - risk of lithium toxicity

NSAIDs: reduces lithium excretion - risk of lithium toxicity (probs)

Diuretics (loop + thiazide): reduces lithium excretion - sodium depletion

Amiodarone: risk of ventricular arrhythmias
