Obturator nerve
- Innervates obturator externus, and medial thigh
L5, S1, S2
Inferior gluteal nerve =gluteus maximus
- Leaves the pelvis through the greater sciatic foramen below the piriformis.

Nerve to piriformis
-Piriformis
L4-S3
Sciatic =Posterior thigh
>semimembranosus >biceps femoris
>semitendinosus >adductor magnus

Posterior cutaneous nerve of the thigh
-Sensory to posterior thigh

Pudental (Pelvic mm)
=ischiocavernosus =Bulbospongiosus
=superior/deep transverse perineal mm
=levator ani
L4-S1
Superior Gluteal Nerve
- Leaves pelvis through greater sciatic foramen above the piriformis.
- Innervates the gluteus medius, gluteus minimus, and the TFL.
L5-S2
Nerve to the obturator internus muscles
- Leaves pelvis through greater sciatic foramen below piriformis and enters perineum through lesser sciatic foramen.
- Innervates the obturator internus and superior gemellus muscles.
