infective cyst ingested ➡️ excyst in intestine-asexual reproduction in colon ➡️ trophozoites ➡️ trophozoites passed in liquid or soft stool @ infective cyst in formed stool @ erodes intestinal wall ➡️ to liver via circulatory system ➡️ causes abcess
