Both- rich in qualitative data.

What are personal documents?
Diaries, autobiographies.
What are historic documents?
Documents created in the past and can still be useful in the present time.
What is an advantage of historic documents?
They are valid; primary resources.
Who are public documents produced by?
Government department, schools, charities, businesses and agencies.
What was the Black Report (1980)?
Major source that highlighted inequalities in health.
Advantages of personal documents?
Interpretivists favour this way because they see the author’s intent.
