16
Q

Capacity Planning

A

Work Center plans the available capacity
MRP calculates capacity requirements based on based orders and routing
options for capacity constraints: increase capacity, reduce demand, capacity leveling (postpone), alternate SoS

17
Q

shopfloor planning

A

Leitung & Führung der Fertigung

18
Q

production preparation

A

production order status (created and released)

create production order -> reserve components & work center capacity -> print labels and documents

19
Q

production execution

A

production order status (created and released and dispatched)
… -> stage components -> set up operations -> start first operation -> inspect quality

20
Q

production confirmation

A

production order status (created and released and dispatched and confirmed)
… -> confirm first operation -> confirm last operation

21
Q

production settlement

A

production order status (created and released and dispatched and confirmed and delivered and completed)
… -> post goods receipt into inventory -> cost settlement of production order

22
Q

Outsourced Manufacturing Processes

A

Subcontracting, ariba SCM collaboration

23
Q

Outsourced Manufacturing

A

Manufacture at different plant (within same company), at a different company (with same client), externatl contractor, different client (same S4 system), …

24
Q

Process Manufacturing

A

Continuous flow of production, IoT

25
Q

Repetitive Manufacturing

A

specify quantities per period, planned orders, repetitive: same/similar products produced over a longer period of time

26
Q

Kanban Manufacturing

A

27
Q

JIT Manufacturing

A
  • JIT application to handle JIT calls based on analytics
28
Q

Make-to-Stock

A

Transform raw materials and components into finished goods
planning strategy: forecast/consumption based
use cases: reliability, stable demand, limited product variations

29
Q

Make-to-Order

A

produce finished products based on customer orders
planning strategy: order based
use cases: variable demand, unstable supply, high product variations

30
Q

Configure-to-order

A

manufacture products out of semifinished products based on customer orders
planning strategy: consumption based for semi/order based for finished products
use cases: variable demand, unstable supply, high production variations, short lead times required, expensive products

31
Q

Design-to-Order

A

Engineer products based on individual customer demand
planning strategy: project based, order based
use cases: individual customer demand, highly complex products, long lead times

32
Q

Quality planning

A

during early stages of product design and development

- Failure Mode and Effects analysis, define quality-related master data, inspection planning, quality tasks

33
Q

quality inspection

A

prepare, perform, and monitor different types of quality inspections (defects recording, sample management, stability studies, quality certificates)

34
Q

quality management

A

improve processes and products (quality notifications, corrective and preventive actions, nonconformance management, quality analytics, audit management, ML)

35
Q

sustainable production

A

waste management, CO2 reduction, new business models, recycling

36
Q

Roles & Responsibilities

A

Supply Planner, Operations Supervisor, Material Planner, Production Scheduler, Delivery Planner, Quality Inspector

37
Q
