What is scale?
A
Scale is the ratio between the actual size of an object and its reduced size.

What is a representative fraction ( R.F )?
A
A representative fraction shows the scale in the form of a ratio, for example, 1:20,000 or 1/20,000. ( same unit -> cm )

A
A statement scale describes the scale in words, for example, 1 cm to 200 m.

A
A linear scale shows the scale on a line.
