• Mental Status, Communicate with the Patient

• NPA
• OPA
• Air Q
• ET Intubation
• Cricothyrotomy

• Evaluate Breathing
• Look for penetrating injury to the chest
• Look on the back for exit wounds
• Chest Seals
• L/S
• Needle Decompression
• Finger Thoracostomy

• Circulation
• Hemodynamic Stability
• Radial Pulses
• Detailed head to toe examination
• Assess ABD trauma
