Akin to the poem, Keats loved Fanny Brawne and desired to marry her, but their social classes prevented this. Keats expresses the possibility of marriage through this musical instrument (a second name) and embroidery

Keats expresses the tragedy of Lorenzo’s death by reminding the readers of the now impossible possibility of marriage
