Heat treatment
A
> more carbides dissolve at higher austenitizing temp, more Cr in matrix, more corrosion resistance and strength
can be air hardenable due to high hardenability
contains martensite, undissolved carbides and retained austenite in quenched steel
tempering gives secondary hardening from Cr23C6 precip
susceptible to temper embrittlement and hydrogen induced embrittlement
