They are used just as they ocurred in nature.
How are synthetic materials made?
They are created through processing in factories or laboratories.
What is the characteristics defined for materials?
Those features of an element which are unique to that particular material.
What is the properties defined for materials?
The feature of a material that can be observed in particular conditions.
