How do you use lohpital’s rule to calculate limits?
You take the numerator and denominator seperatley and calculate what you’d get when substituting x=a into the numerator and denominator. If you get 0/0 or infinity/infinity, you can seperatley differentiate the numerator and denominator then substitute x=a into that to find the limit.
limit might not exist if you do the first step and don’t get 0/0 or infinity/infinity
limit might not exist if the derivative doesnt exist like the derivative of the absolute value of x
limit might not exist if you repetitively get 0/0 and infinity/infinity after doing lohpitals rule
How do you put a cubed root in calculator?
go to math and choose the 5th option.
What is the compound interest rate formula and the depreciation formula
compound:
FV=PV (1+r)^n
depreciation:
V=Vo(1-r)^n
What can you do if you get a^m times a^n?
What can you do to simplify if you get a^m / a^n?
What can you do if you get (ab)^n
you can simplify that to a to the m + n
you can do a ^m-n
You can do a^n times b^n
how do you simplify logb (x^n)
how do you simplify log b (xy)
simplify logb (x/y)
simplify logb (a)
you would get n times log b(x)
you would do logb (x) + logb (y)
you’d get logb (x) minus logb (y)
logc (a) / logc (b)
