The egg will definitely be fertilised by somebody’s sperm if many males are mating.
What is the good jeans hypothesis in terms of polyandry?
If a male has exuberant phenotypic characteristics it will be evident that they have enough energy to spare to make them meaning they have good genes to aid the general survival.
Why will that be reduced violence in a polyandric setting
All the males will protect the female because they all think she has that young and there will be less infanticide for the same reason.
