How do you MAN and UNMAN the MDC

A
  • MAN: tap the Form 0 box and type MAN, then press the transmit XMIT button
  • UNMAN same steps but type UNMAN and transmit

If the MDC does not associate with the right unit what do you do

A
  • call dispatch (323)881-6183 and give

them the MID and the vehicles F number.

List the status buttons

A

EN RTE: Press when you are in route to an incident
SPEC: Retrieves a list of resources on the current incident
DINFO: Requests the CAD to resend dispatch information
AV OAS: Press when you are available on assignment
AV MDT: Press when you are available MDC
AT HSP: Available at hospital (not used)
ON SCN: Press when you arrive on scene of the incident
STGD: Press when you are staged at an incident
LOC HX: Retrieves a status of the hospitals shown in the FSO of the current
incident
AV VOI: Press when you are available voice (radio)
AV QTR: Press when you are available in quarters by station SCU
MAN ACK: Manual acknowledgement accepts the transmission and resets the alarm
