Why was Hippocrates important?
He is the founder of medicine and was regarded as the great physician of all time

What are the four humour?
blood, black bile, yellow bile, phlegm
What are some of the supernatural causes they believed?
God is the cause, position of the planets, miasma which is bad air

herbal remedies, blood letting, diet

What did bubonic plague Do?
make u feel cold and tired bubors appeared in the armpits and groin
What did pneumonia Do?
attacked the victims lungs cause them to cough up blood and they would die more rapidly
What were some of the treatments of plague?
eating cool things, lighting fire in the room, carrying herbs and spices

rebirth

he was part of a belief called humanjsn which was a move away from the idea God sent illness

airy bedrooms, cold drinks and light blankets

human had bone was made out from one bone. breastbone had three parts. blood does not flow to the heart through invisible holes

Also proved Galen wrong after studying how the heart of works

blood had a one way system and the blood was not manufactured by the liver

He was a man that found a cure for small pox using a vaccine which he injected into a young boy
