what med should not be prescribed with a history of cardiac issues and nitro? why?

A

phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5) inhibitor. PDE-5 inhibitors are contraindicated within 24-48 hours of nitroglycerin due to the potential for severe hypotension.
