Q

Why must your level of arousal be controlled in a game of basketball for example?

A

If you have to little arousal you won’t be bothered and might miss a pass from your team. You will not be focused enough and may end up loosing the game.

However, if you have too much arousal you could get too excited and make frantic passes/shots and not think about your possible tactics. You could get frustrated and may get aggressive and therefore not focuses on the game.
