What is also called suppleness?
Flexibility
Define cardio respiratory endurance
The ability of the heart and lungs to work for long periods of time without getting tired.
How do we test cardio respiratory endurance?
By doing the Cooper test

Define muscular endurance
The ability of a muscle or group of muscles to work continuously for a long period of time.
Define speed
The body’s ability to perform an action or cover a distance in the shortest time possible
What impact can speed have on performance?
Allows you to;
Beat opponents
Get into effective positions
Define strength
Strength is the body’s maximum force a muscle or group of muscles can expert at any one time
How do we test the level of speed you have?
20meters sprint test
How can you build up your level of speed?
By doing interval training;
E.g
Jog 2 mins
Sprint 40 secs
Repeat 6x
Then gradually increase time limits.

Suppleness is the range of movement in the joints.

Muscular endurance is the ability of specific muscles to work for long periods of time without getting tired
Define power
Power is the combination of speed and strength
