What is the difference of emotions and moods?

A

Emotions are more short-lived and more intense. They also have a definitive cause. Moods however are more mild and longer lasting. It is also hard to find the cause for a mood.

They feel acceptance, respect, and love. They feel that they don’t need to brag about their accomplishments as they feel that they’re doing well. They feel trustworthy and safe. They managed to have personal responsibilities and have integrity. They show authentic expressions of emotions.

They feel rejection and conditional love (or no love at all). They feel that they don’t have enough respect or attention. They feel the need to brag about accomplishments to gain respect. They feel much guilt, shame, and resentment while comparing themselves to others.
