Mental toughness means taking responsibility for yourself and others to find a way to win a matter what life throws at you.
For the last 1000 days did you go to bed knowing you killed it or thinking damn I wasted my day.
Most important idea: YOUR ROUTINES DETERMINE WHO YOU ARE
Mental toughness is the tool to build the routines that you want. It’s the way to win the daily battle with yourself.
Anything bad that happens, ask yourself, ‘ok, what are you going to do about it?’
Of 100 people, 70 fail to even start due to fear of looking dumb. 20 give up at the first obstacle because their dream turns out to be work. 8 more can fight through the hard challenges but don’t have the grit to fight every single day.
Integrity: holding yourself to a higher standard; keeping your promises; what you do when no one is looking.
Fear: The best way to make sure good things don’t happen is to worry about the bad things that might. The time you waste worrying you could have spent bulletproofing yourself for the real bad things.
