Q

Story about cheating in the Olympics? (I forgot the name)

A

Oinomaos, King of Pisa, was told he would die when his daughter married, so he challenged suitors to a deadly chariot race. Pelops competed and won by bribing the king’s charioteer to replace the bronze linchpins with wax ones, causing the king’s chariot to crash and kill him. Afterward, Pelops established games in honor of Oinomaos.
