What problems are caused by natural disasters?
Illnesses from dirty water and mosquitoes cause malaria.
Why is life expectancy low in developing countries?
Because infectious diseases and starvation are the major deaths.
Which organisations provide aid to developing countries?
A few medical facilities
Why is the death rate lower and life expectancy longer in do eloped countries?
Because they have more hospitals, pharmacies and gps to help people.
What is the difference in role between a nurse and a doctor?
A nurse makes sure you are ok and does what the doctor orders, a doctor carries out surgery and operations.
In Britain, local hospitals have been closed and larger city hospitals have been built. Give two reasons why this has occurred and two problems it may have caused.
Why this has occurred-
i) too many people were coming to the local hospitals and they weren’t able to help everybody.
ii) there might not have been a lot of doctors and nurses to help everybody
Problems-
i) too far away for people who lived in the country side.
ii) there will be a lot of patients as not all people live in the city.
