Hold it in an upright position w/ one hand on its arm & the other supporting its base

How to use a microscope?
A
Always begin the focusing process w/ the lowest-power objective lens then changing to the high-power lenses
Use the coarse adjustment knob only w/ the lowest power objective lens

How to store a microscope?
A
Remove slide from stage, rotate the lowest-power objective lens in position, wrap the cord around the base store in cabinet with the ocular lens facing the inside
Use special grit-free lens paper to clean using a circular motion after use
