What are the factors affecting migration

We can travel around the world easily and research locations and move people as well as money.
What are the push and pull factors
Push; war,low employment,lack of saftey,flooding,poverty.
Pull; Higher wages, less crime, lower risk of natural hazards, better services.
Cohen split the types of migration into 3:
Citizen; has full citerzinship rights howeverr since 1970s it has been made harder to gain these rights.
Denizen; welcomes by the state
Helot; literal slaves
Why is the rise in women migration not empowering
they are being exploited for their expressive roles being economically taken advantage of.
What did Hochschild identify in terms of the main reasons for feminisation in migration ?
Men remain unwilling to perform domestic labour
The expansion of services resulted in women from overseas filling the void left behind because UK women are becoming more empowered and instrumental.
