Q

What is commitment?

A
  • Sometimes minorities engage in extreme activities / put themselves at risk or inconvenience to draw attention to their cause.
  • activities must put some sort of risk on minority. Eg. Arrested as it shows commitment to the cause and generates interest.
  • however, these activities may present a bad image of the minority (their cause) so people might be less likely to change their views as they may think it is annoying / inconvenient.
