what are mixed methods

A

use of two or more methods in a surfy which can be used to check the data from one method , and it’s the data from another method ( triangulation )

A
  • can be representative and therefore be generalised
  • add qualitative research to quantitative
  • increases validity
  • can weigh out strengths and weaknesses of each method
