Saya pun berasa gembira dapat berkenalan dengan tuan-tuan. Saya dari Battalion Pertama Rejimen Askar Melayu Diraja. Singkatannya, 1 RAMD.
I am pleased to meet you too. I’m from the 1st Battalion Royal Malay Regiment. The abbreviation is 1RMR.

Saya Ketua Platun.

What types of weapons do you have in your platoon?
Platun kami ada raifal M4 karbin, MGL 40 mm, mortar, dua mesingan ringan dan bom tangan.
We have M4 carbine rifle, MGL 40 mm, mortars, two light machine guns and grenades.
Apa antara jenis senjata dan peralatan dalam unit Leftenan?
What types of weapons and equipment do you have in your unit?
Unit kami ada beberapa jenis kereta kebal, KPA, KPT, artileri dan mesingan berat.
Our unit has some different types of tanks, APCs, AFVs, artillery pieces and heavy machine guns.
Apa peralatan persendirian asas yang Leftenan terima semasa masuk tentera?
What types of basic personal equipment do you receive when you join the service?
Biasanya, kami terima 3 jenis pakaian seragam, iaitu pakaian tempur celoreng, pakaian kawad, dan pakaian kerja berwarna hijau. Selain itu, kami dapat botol air, tali pinggang, sarung kaki, but, beg galas dan kasut.
We normally receive 3 types of uniforms: camouflage, parade uniform and green work uniforms. Besides that, we get a water bottle, belt, socks, boots, backpack and shoes.
Bagaimana dengan Tentera Udara dan Tentera Laut?
What about the Air Force and the Navy?
Mereka terima peralatan asas yang serupa. Pakaian seragam berwarna putih untuk Tentera Laut dan biru muda untuk Tentera Udara.
They would receive similar basic equipment. White service uniform for the Navy and sky blue for the Air Force.
