What does ICT stand for?
Information and Communications Technology.
What does ICT allow us to do?
Access information using telecommunications like phones and computer networks.

What are the five stages of the information processing cycle?
Input, Processing, Storage, Output, Communication.
What is an example of an input device?
Keyboard or microphone.
What does the CPU do?
It processes data and performs calculations.
What is RAM used for
Temporary storage of data while it is being used.
What is the purpose of output devices?
To display or present data to users (e.g. screen, printer).
Give one reason why we use computers.
They save time, such as through online banking or shopping.
How do computers help reduce labour?
Automation speeds up production and reduces human effort.
