A
MLST = multi locus sequence typing
it increases the resolution of specific ribosome components(16sRNA) as well as allowing entire genome sequencing

describe what Serological tests involve
A
they test the hosts immune response to antigens by raising the no. of antibodies, antibodies specific to the microbe/virus, rapid detection(24 hours) of viruses and can identify specific serotypes of bacteria
