6:2 Dómine, ne in furóre tuo árguas me, * neque in ira tua corrípias me.
Lord, not in your fury rebuke (argue) me…nor in your ire chastise (rip my core) me

indignation with self over inability to conquer vice/sin
6:8 Turbátus est a furóre óculus meus: * inveterávi inter omnes inimícos meos.
Troubled with fury are my eyes. I aged (in-verterate = spine withered) among all my enemies
i am angered that I have grown old without conquering vice
6:9 Discédite a me, omnes, qui operámini iniquitátem: * quóniam exaudívit Dóminus vocem fletus mei.
Depart from me, all, who operate iniquity…for the Lord heard my voice weeping.
we say “NO MORE! to the demons”
6:10 Exaudívit Dóminus deprecatiónem meam, * Dóminus oratiónem meam suscépit

6:11 Erubéscant, et conturbéntur veheménter omnes inimíci mei: * convertántur et erubéscant valde velóciter.
Ashamed (made red) and troulbed (with turbulence) vehemently all my enemies…turned back and ashamed with much velocity!
they now see a scrappy fighter…they are confused and run

Lord, my God, in you I hope. Make me safe from all my persecutors, and liberate me.
7:3 Nequándo rápiat ut leo ánimam meam, * dum non est qui rédimat, neque qui salvum fáciat.
At no time seize (take violently) as a lion my soul, while there is no one to redeem, nor one who makes me safe
7:4 Dómine, Deus meus, si feci istud, * si est iníquitas in mánibus meis:
Lord, my God, if I have done this, if there is iniquity on my hands:
7:5 Si réddidi retribuéntibus mihi mala, * décidam mérito ab inimícis meis inánis.
if I rendered to those who repaid me evils, let me decide I have merited it from my enemies, emptiness.
?
7:6 Persequátur inimícus ánimam meam, et comprehéndat, et concúlcet in terra vitam meam, * et glóriam meam in púlverem dedúcat.
let them persecute, the enemies of my soul, and comprehend it, and tread on it - my earthly life, and my glory pulvarized (they bring down…dedicate my glory to dust)
“if i turn against the king…let these be my lot”
7:7 Exsúrge, Dómine, in ira tua: * et exaltáre in fínibus inimicórum meórum.

(but if I am innocent…)
