Platoon Column

A

Wedges one after the other. Lead squad, wpns, center rifle, and trail squad. PL inbetween ldr and wpns, PSG between CR and TS.

Platoon Line

A

Lateral line of wedges. When there is no intervening terrain between you an enemy to max fire power to the front.

Platoon File

A

Line. One after another with two teams (wedge form) on either side of the line and one in the front. Used for traveling only (no enemy expected in the area). Security teams on sides should be far out/in the wood line.

A

Triangle two wedges at each apex. Center of triangle is HQ. Good to quickly cigar shape or start patrol base.
