Front of chest and moves the arm towards the upper part of the body.
What is the function of the trapezius?
Draws the head backwards to allow the shoulders to raise.

Corrugator
Which muscle raises the eyebrows?
Frontalis
What does the mentalis do?
Dimples the chin and raises the lower lip
What does the buccinator enable?
Sucking and blowing
Which muscle moves the lower jaw?
Temporalis
When yawning which muscle depresses the jaw and lowers the lip?

What does the Risorius do?
Draws the mouth sideways and outwards
What is the function of the masseter?
Clenches the teeth and lower jaw

What does the Levators Labii do?
Lifts the upper lip and helps to form the nasolabial fold
What does the sternocleidomastoid do?
Enables the neck to be flexed, head rotate and nod
What is the function of the depressor of the lower lip?
Bottom lip lowers and moves slightly to one side.
