What is the anhemitonic pentatonic scale?
A scale that consists of only 5 notes.
What is the Diatonic Scale?
A scale that consists of only 7 white keys. AKA the Heptatonic Scale.
What is the Hexatonic Scale?
A scale that consists of only 6 whole tones.
What is the Octatonic Scale?
A scale that consists of only 8 notes. AKA a diminished scale.
What is the Dodecatonic Scale?
A scale that consists of only 12 notes. AKA the Chromatic scale. (ALL of the pitch classes.)
What is a natural note?
An unchanged note.
What is chromaticism?
When you step outside of the Diatonic Collection. (All white keys)
What is the Harmonic Minor?
Raised 7th scale degree.
What is the melodic minor?
A raised 6th and 7th scale degree on the ascent. However, on the descent, the notes get put back to their “natural” Normal state.
What is an Asymmetrical Scale?
It is a pentatonic scale.
What is a Symmetrical Scale?
A whole-tone scale(Hexatonic) + chromatic + Octatonic scale.

What is a Hybrid Scale?
A diminished whole-tone + octatonic Scale.
