When you leave Perry Barr, the signal ahead might be obscured..... why?

Because there could be a train in the Up Platform

No. The previous signal (protecting Pleck Junction) could have been a single yellow..... you then sight these signals on a right curve.... if they are displaying a red aspect you might be distracted by them and cause you to SPAD your own signal..... also if the signals are showing a proceed aspect this might also distract you from your signal which might be a red aspect
