Conservative

A

Ensure nappy fits properly
Leave nappy off as much as possible to hel skin dry around nappy area
Change nappy every 3-4hours or as soon as possible
Use water or fragrance free, alcohol free wipes
Pat dry, don’t rub
Wash daily but not more than twice a day
Don’t use saop or bubble bath or lotions

Hydrocortisone cream 1 percent, max 7 days + barrier cream from OTC (wait a few mins after the steroid before applying barrier cream)
