natural law
moral principles are inherent to human nature can be discovered through reason

aristotle- belived everything in nature was constatntly changing and moving to purpose known as telos

1.eternal law-law of god governs entire universe - unchanhing only fully known to god - humans cant fully understand but percive aspects through reason
2.divine law-revealed through scripture - guides - humans to live in accordance with gods will
3.natural law- god given reason accessable to all know right and wrong
3.human law-created by humans to provide stability and security preven chaos- designed to protect rights eg constitution

education - offspring- reproduce+old protection
worship god
law and order- organised society ect
secondary precepts
continuation from primary precepts
once reason knows pp - can use reason to further derive our rules
eg life as a basic good - murder is wrong =sp
education - pp - sp = school is good
